Ascendant Alternative Strategies serves as a broker-dealer, working closely with an issuer’s management team to seamlessly manage the process of raising capital through securities offerings. This includes conducting a deep due-diligence analysis, advising on the preparation of offering material such as PPMs and subscription agreement documents, soliciting broker-dealer agreements and guidance so the issuer remains in compliance with regulations from start to finish.
What We Do
We bring income-producing private equity offerings to the marketplace. Through arrangements with registered investment advisors, broker-dealers and family offices, we are able to make institutional-quality alternative solutions available to accredited investors. We believe in and support the importance of non-correlated investment products as part of any well-balanced portfolio.
Ascendant Alternative Strategies conducts capital raising activity for both private and public operating companies. Using the deep network we have established over the course of multiple decades in the industry, our team assists in identifying both investors and businesses in search of private equity operating partners. In addition, we assist high-net-worth individuals and family offices who seek liquidity for their privately held securities.
Mergers and Acquisitions
Ascendant Alternative Strategies offers a mergers and acquisitions advisory practice. We work with our clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, privatizations, strategic partnerships, and joint ventures. Our advisory services include general strategic and transaction-specific advice for management teams, boards of directors, and other relevant parties.
Ascendant Alternative Strategies offers fairness opinions and valuations for mergers and acquisitions transactions. We evaluate pricing, terms, and consideration received in the context of what similar companies would receive in the current market. We then assess whether or not the transaction is fair, both from a financial point of view and from the perspective of minority shareholders.
